Environmental Planning
Gebauer & Associates specializes in comprehensive environmental planning and monitoring for significant projects across diverse ecosystems. In Nunavut, our long-term wildlife monitoring studies for the Meadowbank and Meliadine Gold Projects investigate and assess mine impacts on various species groups, including caribou, Arctic predators, waterfowl, raptors, and songbirds.

For major infrastructure projects in British Columbia's Lower Mainland, such as the Sea-to-Sky and Port Mann Highway 1, we conduct extensive wildlife monitoring. This includes monitoring Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, and raptor nesting success; tracking population dynamics of birds, amphibians, dragonflies, and vegetation in compensation areas; and evaluating habitat suitability for federally endangered species like the Pacific Water Shrew and Oregon Forestsnail.
