Resource Management

Resource management projects have included prescribed burning plans and prescriptions for Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park, habitat enhancements for rare wildlife species in the Okanagan such as the White-headed Woodpecker, and hunter harvest studies associated with the Meadowbank Gold Project. As part of the Port Mann Highway 1 project, species such as Red-legged Frog, Pacific Water Shrew and Oregon Forestsnail are being salvaged prior to construction activities and released to undisturbed areas.
